The first 2 projects I did in this section think i learnt the most from only because i was at a course where I really had free range I didn’t have much help from the super but I was able to trial and test anything i wanted. The verticutting was a great experience as I thought it was only meant for decreasing thatch build up. where I used it to open up the canopy and get the seed and sand into it. Same with the rolling project I had free range with the mowers and the roller so i got to test greens and see what the difference was where some people might of got the chance to do that.
The reason i picked those 2 weeks over the next 2 was i was in the middle of moving to a new course which was the best idea for me for the rest of the summer and for my future. But i believe the next 2 project weren’t as good because the first one I was in the middle of switching course and the 2nd one the super was trying to show me as much as he could before he retired.
I believe the every project we did this summer will help us in some sort in the future whether it was a project of failure or success. I took at least one the out of every project with me that I will use for the rest of my career because i got to trail and just find out what worked for certain thing and the way it was went about is how you liked it. Im so excited for the next year of learning and see where this work experience part of the school can take us in the future.
