Irrigation

Getting back to learning irrigation was probably my favorite thing so far. I feel that irrigation is where I thrive the most in this profession as of right now. I’m looking forward to see what comes in the next 2 weeks with this block and getting to learn rainbirds system. Learning the distribution side of sprinklers were nice because we got to physically learn the math to find out what percentage of water hitting your green and then realizing how you can make that better.

I believe this will further help me in the future, it teaches you how to manage your water and and where your losing your water and why. Also it teaches us how to keep track of our sprinklers. You’ll know what sprinklers are lacking in performance by the lack of percentage in water hitting those areas. Also the rain bird part is definitely going to help my future because I’ve never got to see the system side of things.
