I took a lot out of this first block. 1 how much I truly miss doing this in person. I rather spend than money and be on campus any day than to do this online. not everyone has the same days and some people are working which makes some of the group work more difficult than others. 2nd thing I took from this is how busy life can be for a person once they step up into these higher management roles. I’ve never done anything with the pro shop or restaurant side of things so learning that part was very interesting for me. also just why do private courses struggle to stay private, you think well the obvious it’s hard to keep money coming in will lack the number of members. It’s also still very interesting to see how many private clubs do it right and can survive after what we learned about this block.
the main thing I took out of this is yes I want to complete school and have good grades and know I’ll always have this in my pocket, but it has also helped me realize I’m happy right where I’m at as well with the assistant role. I know in time money might become a factor but for less stress and decent money where I’m at I can truthfully be happy with that.
